Graduating with distinction from Imperial College London School of Medicine in 2010, Mr Okhovat completed his foundation and core surgical training at the Northwest Thames London Deanery, focusing on ENT surgery. He continued his registrar training in the West of Scotland and pursued a prestigious fellowship in advanced rhinology, sinus, and minimally invasive skull base surgery at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver General Hospital in Canada. This fellowship, accredited by the American Rhinological Society and the North American Skull Base Society, enhanced his skills in diagnosing and managing complex inflammatory, benign, and malignant conditions of the sinus, nose, and skull base.

Mr Okhovat furthered his training through observerships at Stanford University Centre for Cranial Base Surgery in Palo Alto, California, and completed the British Rhinological Society Advanced Rhinology Fellowship programme, solidifying his expertise in the field. He specialises in diagnosing and managing complex inflammatory, benign, and malignant sinus, nose, and skull base conditions.

As part of the Endoscopic Neuro-Skull Base Surgery team at the Institute of Neurological Sciences at QEUH, he collaborates closely with the Neurosurgical team to perform endoscopic endonasal approaches for skull base tumour resections. Additionally, he is part of the Paediatric Endoscopic Skull Base team, providing regional services for children with neuro-skull base tumours.

He was elected as Council member representing Scotland for the British Rhinological Society. Mr Okhovat leads a tertiary referral facial plastic surgery practice, addressing complex nasal and facial deformities. He has a strong academic interest in operative and non-operative rhinoplasty, having performed numerous reconstructive nasal surgeries, including open and closed septorhinoplasties, non-surgical rhinoplasties, and partial and total nasal reconstruction for nasal cancer patients.

He has undertaken observerships at high-volume facial plastic centres in New York with Dr Steve Pearlman, MD, FACS, and Dr Maurice Khosh, MD. He has published in facial plastic reconstructive surgery and is an invited speaker and faculty member at various national meetings and courses. He was elected as a council member for the British facial Plastic Surgery Society.

Mr Okhovat is deeply involved in surgical education and publishing in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. He currently serves as the Fellowship Director for the Glasgow Advanced Sinus and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship programme and the Associate Post-Graduate Dean for Neurosurgery and Otolaryngology Simulation Training for Scotland. He also leads the UK Surgical Accreditation Committee for Rhinology Simulation training. His contributions to surgical education have earned him numerous awards, including the University of British Columbia Fellow Teaching Award and the Imperial College London Teaching Excellence Awards.

Dr Richard Shaffer is a leading radiotherapy specialist and clinical oncologist based in London and Surrey. He has a specialist interest in treating benign (non-malignant) conditions with radiotherapy, including Dupuytren's disease, Ledderhose (plantar fibromatosis), plantar fasciitis, insertional Achilles tendonitis and keloid scarring.
 
He was the first in the UK to treat patients with osteoarthritis (of the hand, hip, knee, foot, elbow, shoulder), tendinopathy (including tennis elbow, golfers elbow, patellar tendonitis, rotator cuff syndrome, de Quervain’s tendonitis) and bursitis (including trochanteric bursitis or greater trochanteric pain syndrome, GTPS). He also treats patients post-operatively with radiotherapy for heterotopic ossification and pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS). He uses the latest radiotherapy technology to do this.
 
Dr Richard Shaffer is president of the International Organisation for Radiotherapy for Benign Conditions. He is clinical lead for benign radiotherapy for GenesisCare UK. He is co-author of a 2015 and 2023 Royal College of Radiologists documents on the use of radiotherapy for benign conditions, and on the most recent German benign radiotherapy guidelines. Dr Richard Shaffer previously worked as the clinical lead for radiotherapy in Guildford and he chaired The Network Radiotherapy Group and the Radiotherapy Strategy Group.
 
Dr Richard Shaffer has also chaired the Radiotherapy Technology Development Group and led the Brain Tumour Working Group from 2010 to 2019. Dr Shaffer was the principal investigator on several treatment studies in prostate cancer, skin cancer and brain tumours. He supervised a clinical fellow in a programme of clinical and lab-based radiobiological research. Before working at Royal Surrey County Hospital, Dr Richard Shaffer undertook his oncology training in London and later completed a Clinical Fellowship in Radiation Oncology (treatment of cancer with radiotherapy) in Vancouver, Canada. Whilst in Canada he completed several research projects focused on technical radiotherapy, including the comparisons of VMAT with conventional IMRT therapy and RapidArc in several disease sites such as breast, prostate and high-grade glioma.

Dr Chitrabhanu Ballav is a leading consultant endocrinologist based in Great Missenden, who specialises in thyroid, reproductive endocrinology and diabetes alongside adrenal disorders, pituitary conditions and antenatal endocrinology. He privately practises at The Chiltern Hospital - part of the Circle Health Group - while his NHS base is Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust where he is the clinical lead for endocrinology. He then went on to complete his training in medicine at several centres of excellence in Cambridge, Glasgow and Kent, as well as Leeds. 

He trained in endocrinology and diabetes in Oxford. He undertook several prestigious fellowships including the Transplant fellowship at the University of Oxford, Novo Nordisk research foundation fellowship and the Rising Star Award from Sanofi-Aventis, alongside the Donell-Etzweiler International Research scholarship at the International Diabetes Centre in Minnesota, US. 

Dr Ballav's clinical interests also lie in calcium bone metabolism and his interests in diabetes include cardio-metabolic risk management and technology. He has published several papers on these topics, and presented at several national and international meetings including the American Diabetes Association Scientific sessions, European Association for Study of Diabetes Annual meetings, and Society for Endocrinology annual meetings. Furthermore, Dr Ballav has co-authored the chapter on Diabetes and Endocrinology in Medicine for MRCP (ed. Bessant, Birns and Ford, Oxford University Press). 

Dr Ballav is also a respected name in clinical education. He has been a Royal College tutor and lecturer for the MRCP clinical course in London for more than a decade. He has also lectured for undergraduates from Oxford University, the University of Buckingham and on the MSc Diabetes course at the University of Leicester.

Currently, he's the training programme director for internal medicine at Thames Valley (previously Oxford Deanery) and a member of the Speciality Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Physicians. He has been an education supervisor for trainees in general medicine and higher speciality trainees in diabetes and endocrinology. 

He is a member of various professional organisations including the Society for Endocrinology, Association of British Clinical Diabetologists and Diabetes UK, alongside the Royal College of Physicians (London).
